British Antarctic Survey offers prestigious Fellowship positions to scientists who have attained considerable distinction in science, or some other aspect of public or professional life.  Two Schemes – The  Honorary Fellows Scheme – for collaborators who have a continuing and close association with BAS, and the Emeritus Fellows Scheme for former employees, are a signal of respect that BAS has for distinguished individuals.
