Michael Haigh
Physical Scientist: Ice/Ocean Modeller
Biography
I am an Ice/Ocean Modeller in the Shelf Seas research group at BAS. My research considers ocean-driven melting of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet with a particular focus on the effects of the Amundsen Sea circulation. Other interests include the role of mesoscale eddies in forcing large-scale ocean flows and in redistributing tracers about the ocean.
