Jasmine Lee
Royal Society Fellowship
Biography
Jasmine is an 1851 Research Fellow in the Biodiversity, Evolution and Adaptation team at the British Antarctic Survey. She is a conservation scientist and her research focuses on understanding how terrestrial biodiversity will be impacted by threatening processes (e.g. climate change, human activity, non-native species) and how conservation can help to mitigate these threats.
Jasmine completed her PhD in Antarctic conservation in the Centre for Biodiversity Conservation Science at the University of Queensland, Australia. She then worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Chown Lab at Monash University, on a systematic conservation planning project for the Antarctic Peninsula in collaboration with SCAR and IAATO.
