Biography

Alexander is the Facilities Engineer for Rothera Research Station on the Antarctic Peninsula, where his responsibilities include management of the Technical Services Team, preventative and routine station maintenance and estate development.

Prior to joining the British Antarctic Survey, he worked in the environmental risk reduction sector chiefly with resilience engineering for Royal Air Force fuel infrastructure across the UK and served in the British Army as a Royal Engineer.
