The cameras records daily images, providing annual data on Adélie and chinstrap penguin population size, phenology and breeding success: essential BAS ecosystems LTMS data and core CCAMLR deliverable. This data cannot be collected without the cameras as BAS personnel are not present during key periods of seabird breeding.
