Professor Richard Horne made Fellow of the American Geophysical Union
British Antarctic Survey scientist Professor Richard Horne has been made a Fellow of the American Geophysical Union (AGU). This title is only awarded once a year to one in a thousand members of the union who have made exceptional scientific contributions in the Earth and space sciences.
To be nominated as a Fellow is a huge tribute to Professor Horne’s scientific career. He will be officially honoured at the next AGU meeting in San Francisco in December 2011.
