Prestigious award for BAS science leader
British Antarctic Survey is delighted to announce the award of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) 2009 Louis Agassiz Medal to Dr Eric W. Wolff for his outstanding contributions to the study of the chemical composition of snow cover and ice cores and their use in the determination of past climates, pollution and atmospheric chemistry. Dr Wolff gave a keynote lecture to the EGU on 21 April 2009.
