Norwich Science Festival: Deep Oceans

Discover more about the Polar Oceans at this year’s Norwich Science Festival Deep Ocean Day on 19th October. Visitors will have the opportunity to find out how British Antarctic Survey scientists use marine robotics to explore the remote polar ocean.

Join Dr Alex Brearley and Ryan Scott to explore how scientists study the icy waters around Antarctica using autonomous underwater vehicles. Take the chance to ask our polar scientists what it is like to work on board a ship in some of the roughest seas in the world.
