New exhibition Antarctica: Life in a Hostile Land

Antarctica: Life in a Hostile Land – a new exhibition in Shrewsbury, which has been developed in partnership with British Antarctic Survey (BAS)

BAS has teamed up with Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery for a new Antarctic exhibition running from 5 June to 17 September. Expect pop up penguins, an authentic Antarctic BAS field camp complete with Nansen Sledge, beautiful imagery, the history of Antarctic science and exploration plus touch screens to our educational resource www.discoveringantarctica.org.uk
