British Antarctic Survey at Into the blue Manchester

Into the blue  will bring alive the world of environmental science and research by immersing visitors in a hands-on science exhibition at Manchester Runway Visitor Park (near the airport). This event is part of Manchester Science Festival. Enter into a world of science, find out about the sea and the sky, and experience the best of the UK’s environmental science research and the cutting-edge technology that is used to measure and monitor our environment.

The British Antarctic Survey exhibition stand will feature the new polar ship with scientists showcasing a variety of our research in the Polar regions.  Come along and dicover Antarctic and find out about animals that live in the sea, and how our oceans are changing and underpinning climate changes.

Tickets to visit the Into the blue showcase at the Runway Visitor Park in Manchester are free to book, but are limited in number.

You can choose to book either a morning session (09:30-12:30) or an afternoon session (13:30-16:30)
